Kerala matrimony, the way families here actually search

Community and denomination before religion. Jathakam when it matters. District, mother tongue and NRI search built in — and the whole site in Malayalam, for the parents doing most of the looking.

A Kerala matrimonial search is narrower than a national one and runs on different questions. Families ask for community and sub-community first, and for Christian families the denomination — Syro-Malabar, Syro-Malankara, Latin Catholic, Orthodox, Jacobite, Marthoma, CSI — matters as much as the religion above it. Native district is asked early and often decides more than current city. For most Hindu families the jathakam is checked before a meeting is arranged rather than after.

A site that cannot express those things is not useful in Kerala, however many profiles it holds. So this one does: the community lists are the real ones, the district filter is the fourteen districts, and the interface is available in Malayalam so the parent doing the searching is not reading a second language while they do it.

  • Community and denomination, named properly

Nair, Ezhava, Menon, Namboothiri and Viswakarma; Syro-Malabar, Syro-Malankara, Latin Catholic, Orthodox, Jacobite, Marthoma and CSI; Sunni and Mujahid. Searchable at the sub-community level, not just the umbrella.

  • Native district, not just city

All fourteen districts, searchable as native place rather than current residence — which is the filter families actually use when a groom is working in Bengaluru or Dubai.

  • Jathakam matching built in

Porutham computed from birth details inside the site, so a match can be checked before contact rather than after a fortnight of messages. A filter, never a verdict — your astrologer still decides.

  • NRI search that assumes the Gulf

Filter by country and visa status. Audio and video calls work across time zones, so a Kochi family and a Dubai groom can talk without either giving out a phone number first.

  • Phone-verified, optionally ID-verified

Every account is verified by OTP. Government-ID verification is optional and costs ₹100 once. Pastor endorsements are available for Christian families whose parish will vouch.

  • Malayalam throughout

The whole interface, not a translated homepage — because the person running the search is often a parent in Kerala, and reading a form in a second language is how details get entered wrong.

How a search usually runs

The sequence is consistent enough that the profile form follows it. Filling these in properly is most of what decides whether you get replies.

  1. Create a free profile and fill in community, sub-community and, for Christian families, denomination and parish.
  2. Add your native district. It is the filter other families search on, and an empty one keeps you out of their results entirely.
  3. Add jathakam details if your family will want them — star and rasi at minimum. Withholding them adds a week to every conversation.
  4. Browse and shortlist. Browsing is free; you pay when you want to open a profile and see contact details.
  5. Register for ₹500 to open ten profiles and get thirty days of full access. Contacts you unlock stay yours.
  6. Talk inside the site first — chat, then audio or video — before anyone hands out a number.

Questions families ask

Is creating a profile free?
Yes. Creating a profile, filling it in, browsing and being found are all free. You pay when you want to open a profile and see contact details — ₹500 once, which includes ten opens and thirty days of access.
Can I search by district and sub-community together?
Yes. Native district, community, sub-community, mother tongue, education, profession and NRI country can all be combined in one search, and you can save the search so you do not rebuild it each time.
How does jathakam matching work here?
You enter birth date, time and place, and the site computes porutham against another profile that has done the same. It is there to save you the meetings that were never going to proceed. Families weigh the categories differently, so treat it as a filter and keep your astrologer in the loop.
Is the site available in Malayalam?
Yes — the entire interface, not just the homepage. Twelve Indian languages are supported in total.
What happens to the profiles I have already unlocked when my access lapses?
They stay unlocked. Renewing access re-opens the account; it does not take away contacts you have already paid to open.
Are profiles visible to Google?
No. Member profiles require an account and are not indexed by search engines.
